We’re the official tourism body, responsible for promoting Mission Beach around the globe and we're so glad you’ve joined us. y. Not only is Mission Beach the birthplace of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, it’s also the place where two World Heritage areas meet - The Wet Tropics Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Are you into islands? The family islands are a stone’s throw away just waiting to be explored with Dunk Island being the biggest. Rainforest, beaches, rivers, creeks and the endangered Cassowary all await you plus Mission Beach offers a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops… Mission Beach has it all without the crowds.
