This is not a case of pouch-swapping 🙂 An albino mother when mated with a normal male will produce albino male young and heterozygous (carrier) females. (In this photo) Its young is obviously a female. The normally-coloured mother is obviously heterozygous. If it has mated with a normal male, half of its male progeny will be albino.

Last week the beautiful and ultra luxurious Silver Muse had her maiden arrival into Sydney. She was welcomed by the Australian Girls Choir for a celebration of Silver Muse's new home, Australia. Dorothy was very fortunate to go on board as a guest of Silver Seas for lunch and ship inspection.
