After a day exploring waterfall trails, wandering the hinterland villages, or simply soaking in the fresh mountain air, our electric fireplace creates the perfect place to gather back together.

Board games on the floor, a warm drink in hand, slow conversations, tired kids curled up on the couch, and the glow of the fire lighting up the room… the simple moments often become the ones remembered most.

Stu and Megan are always dreaming, building, planting, fixing, creating and imagining what this place could become next.

One minute it’s moving rocks and landscaping gardens, the next it’s late-night ideas about new spaces, wellness experiences, family moments, or ways to make Monty’s House feel even more special for the people who stay here.

This place has been built with so much love, hard work, sacrifice and vision.

Every little corner holds a story, and watching it continue to grow into everything we dreamed of makes all the busy days worth it.

The ideas never stop flowing around here… and honestly, we wouldn’t want it any other way ✨

I think I’ve found the place… 😉

Where mornings are slow and wrapped in mist,
and the view stretches out like it was painted just for you.

Where the fire crackles long after the sun goes down, stories are shared a little deeper,
and time seems to soften around the edges.

Ice baths to awaken the body,
warmth from the flames to bring you back,
and space for family to simply be together.

This is the kind of winter escape you don’t rush through…
