Top Catch Charters

We’ve had an absolute cracker of a few weeks out on the water, with plenty of great catches, good times and even better company! 🐟☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who’s joined us over the holiday period and shared some laughs. We love getting you out on the water and doing what we do! 🙌

And now… it’s time to start thinking about your work XMAS party! I know October has only just started but spots are filling fast for December so if you want something a little different for your work Christmas party, team celebration or end-of-year get-together?

Why settle for the usual pub or restaurant when you can get your crew out on the water for a Christmas party to remember! 🚤🍻

We’re looking forward to Christmas party season and welcoming plenty more groups on board for a day (or night!) of good times, big fish and plenty of laughs.

Bring on the festive season! 🎅🎣🍻

Farewell, Smithy 🕊️

On behalf of everyone at Top Catch Charters I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Julie, Joel and the extended smith family.

I was totally shocked to hear the passing of Robert “Smithy” Smith — a true legend on the water and a mate to so many of us in the charter boat and fishing community. We are all deeply saddened and I still can't believe it😥.

Smithy wasn’t just a fellow operator — he was someone who gave generously of his time, his knowledge, and his passion for fishing. Whether it was swapping stories, lending a hand when things got tough, or sharing those secret fishing spots (if you were lucky!), Smithy embodied what it meant to be part of this tight-knit industry.

There is a go fund me page set up for his wife Julie and son Joel, if anyone wishes to help out

The ocean won’t feel the same without him out there, doing what he loved best. Calm seas and tight lines, brother — we’ll miss you deeply.

Rest easy, Smithy. 🌊⚓️
