We have been very busy researching Lorrys (trucks) in Scotland in the last week! Watching races and common ridings and seeing how horses have been transported to The Royal Highlands Show. It's a tough job!!

So another busy week ahead for Tamworth Horse Transport!

Monday is 8 Yearling Colts down to Inglis Classic Sales in Sydney

Tuesday is 9 colts, filly’s and geldings from Gerry Harvey’s stud in Armidale down to Trainer Richard Litt in Sydney

Wednesday clean both trucks day!

Thursday, more for Mr Harvey from Mel o Gorman, Tamworth Trainer to Sydney.. also couple of private owned horses to Sydney also

Friday is the return of some great clients horse going back to NEGS ( New England Girls Scool) in Armidale….. Also a couple for top breeders of stock/Quarter Horses in our area!

We just got over moving nearly 80 yearlings during the renowned Magic Millions Sales on The Gold Coast , now we go again!!

So back in April, Liam , who is racing manager for Cairon Maher in NSW , reckoned he had a horse that could win a “Big Dance”…. After borrowing a Ute , a 2 horse angle float, he made his way to Tamworth!! He stayed at our place at Heritage Hill which is only 1/2hr from the track….. Reese rode him early on the morning of race day to stretch his legs….. we put him on one of our trucks and headed to the races….. said horse won The Tamworth Cup easily in a good field… this then qualified him to go to Randwick today to run in “The Big Dance”!!
Congratulations to Cairon Maher, all the owners and staff… but my son for making a plan, allowing us to be part of it, and it working out!!3million dollars will be sweet for the owners and strappers
