I live in Chipping Norton with my husband Peter and our two daughters Alexandra and Samantha. I have been a travel consultant for over 30 years and in that time I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that enables me to work closely with my clients and provide quality advice in planning and arranging their travels and holidays. My priority is to provide a courteous and complete service.
I pride myself on understanding their individual needs and saving them from any hassles in planning and booking their travel. Based on my knowledge of the industry and my many travel experiences, I am able to advise my clients on all the options, the do's & don'ts as well as other matters sometimes overlooked (such as insurance, visas, transfers). After 20 years in the industry, I joined itravel as a Travel Manager in 2011. I enjoy working with itravel because I am now a 'mobile travel agent' and, with the aid of today's technology, I have the flexibility to meet and communicate with my clients as it best suits them - at home, in the office or a local cafe or via email, phone, Facebook. I have access to the best products and services available within the travel industry. itravel is accredited by the Travel Compensation Fund and International Air Transport Association and is a part of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents and International Cruise Council Australasia. Prior to itravel, I enjoyed three years as a Travel Consultant with Travelworld Liverpool. After I started at Travelworld, I realised that I had returned to a career that I was good at and loved. In the years prior to that, I devoted my time to raising our two beautiful daughters. Before the girls came along, my family and I owned a travel agency at Bankstown - originally Bankstown Travel Centre as a UTAG franchise then as Jetset Bankstown. The business grew very successfully over our 7 year period due to our strong focus on customer service and value for money. Prior to that, I developed a lot of very valuable knowledge and experience in corporate groups and conferences with The Axis Group for 7 years. I did not foresee all the joys of the above experiences when I first started in the travel industry with Sunbeam Tours when I was only 17 years old. This was an excellent initiation because, from the very start, I was organising and sometimes escorting group travel within Australia. My customer services and sales achievements have been recognised in a number of travel industry and agency awards. I have explored most of Australia, cruised the South Pacific, travelled throughout Europe, the USA including Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand and many countries in Asia. My favourite annual holiday destination is Bali with my family!
