Well it is time to say farewell but not goodbye....
Yesterday was a day of mixed emotions for both Allan & I, there were feelings of excitement but also of sadness....after 20 years as owners of M & G Travel and for me 46 years with the travel agency we have closed our doors!! 😢
The travel agency was opened by Mark Tramby back in October 1978, and it wasn't long after that I joined the team.
In 2005 Mark offered Allan & I the opportunity to purchase the business which we did, certainly a big move for us but one we have never regretted!
M & G became our family and we have loved helping so many people furfill their dreams of travelling, helping plan that special holiday or adventure whether it be here at home or overseas!
Then in 2020 as you know Covid-19 happened, even though things where crazy we made the decision to move locations....
not knowing where travel was going and if in fact if it would ever come back! We have felt very blessed these last few years that there was indeed a life after Covid-19 and this is due to you, our clients!
SO a HUGE "Thank You" to each of you, not only for your continued support these last few years but over the many, many years the agency has been open, we truly appreciated your loyalty!! 💝
Also a huge "Thank You" to all the staff that have worked at
M & G Travel over the past 46 years, and especially the last 20 years for Allan & I, we were so lucky to have such wonderful employees, not only as our work colleagues but as friends, we appreciate you helping making M & G Travel the agency it was and for your loyalty to us!!
Thank you to all those that sent us cards, emails, flowers & gifts and those that popped in to see us, to wish us well and say good-bye!!
It has made us feel very much appreciated and loved....🥰
Allan & I are looking forward to the next chapter in our lives, more family time & travel of course being high on our list!!
We hope to see you out & about, we will miss you all!!
