The Cape to Cape Track takes students through some of Western Australia’s most striking coastal landscapes, from the cliffs of Cape Naturaliste and the beaches around Yallingup to the towering karri forests of Boranup and the iconic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.

Designed for school groups and ideal for Duke of Edinburgh programs, the journey combines multi-day hiking, camping and outdoor learning in a fully supported environment. All hiking, camping and safety equipment is provided, allowing teachers to focus on the experience while students build confidence, resilience and stronger connections with one another.

If you’re researching ideas for your next school trip or outdoor education program, the Cape to Cape Track is well worth exploring. Learn more here: https://infusetravel.com.au/programs/cape-to-cape-track/

Thank you to the Year 7s and wonderful staff from Fintona Girls' School for a truly memorable immersion in Central Australia. "Sophie, Zara and Taylor [Infuse Program Leaders] were fabulous with the Fintona Year 7s in Central Australia. The girls created a safe, high-vibe environment where students felt comfortable stepping out of their comfort zones." - Sarah Bell, Teacher, Fintona Girls' School.

National Volunteer Week is a great reminder that your community is full of ways to make a difference!

For young people, there are many welcoming places to start. Organisations like Surf Life Saving Australia and St John Ambulance Australia offer supportive pathways to learn skills and get involved.

Groups like State Emergency (SES) and Conservation Volunteers Australia create hands-on opportunities to contribute to the places and environments around you. And organisations like RSPCA Australia offer simple, meaningful ways to care for animals in need.

You don’t need experience to begin. Just curiosity, a bit of time, and the willingness to get involved!

Choosing a school travel provider is no small decision.

When student safety, wellbeing and educational outcomes are involved, it makes sense to take a considered, thoughtful approach.

In our work alongside schools, we’re often asked what to look for when evaluating different programs. So we’ve brought those conversations together into a practical resource: https://infusetravel.com.au/experiential-learning-provider-best-practice-checklist/

It’s a simple checklist to help guide decision-making. It covers areas like duty of care, curriculum alignment, cultural integrity, and how learning is supported before, during and after the experience.

Our hope is that it gives educators a clearer framework to ask the right questions and feel confident in whichever path they choose.

If you’re currently exploring options for your students, it may be a helpful place to start. We’d also be interested to hear what you prioritise when selecting a program!

Konnichiwa! 🇯🇵🌸 We recently touched down from Japan, wrapping up our rural cultural immersion with Nowra High School.

From the electric atmosphere of Fukuoka to the peaceful ancient trails of the Kunisaki Peninsula, we put on our backpacks, stepped out of our comfort zones and into remote Japan.

Over 9 days, we immersed ourselves in traditional Japanese life, staying in local homestays, trying our hand at traditional crafts like ikebana and assisting with sustainable farming projects.

What an experience! ⛩️🍜 🥾

In less than two weeks Infuse Travel will be joining the Offseas 2026 Conference at Garden International School in Kuala Lumpur!

Our Director of Impact, Dr Kearrin Sims will be delivering a workshop on how experiential education providers can embed best-practice social and environmental responsibility across every aspect of their operations, while delivering powerful learning outcomes for students.

Kearrin will share some real-world examples of Infuse’s efforts to address enduring challenges within the experiential education sector, openly exploring what is working well, as well as where tensions persist.

Infuse will also be an exhibitor at OFFSEAS, so if you are joining the conference please come and say hello – we would love to see you there!

Some of the most powerful professional learning doesn’t happen in the classroom.

Our Central Australia Teacher Immersion invites educators to experience one of the most culturally significant landscapes in Australia, learning directly from Traditional Owners.

Departing in early July 2026, teachers will experience Country, story and community firsthand, gaining a deeper understanding of First Nations knowledge systems and how these can meaningfully inform classroom practice. It is immersive, reflective and designed to stay with you long after you return home.

This is an opportunity to reconnect with purpose and bring richer, more authentic learning back to your students.

"Sitting by the fire, hearing stories from Elders, and being surrounded by Country - it stays with you. We went there to learn, but what we got was something much deeper. I saw what’s been lost through greed, but I also saw the strength of mob and the healing that comes from standing together. I came back grounded, connected, and ready to do more."
- Richie Butler, Teacher, Bomaderry High School, Cape York Teacher PD Trip 2025
