The power is out across Mansfield, Tolmie and Barwite. However we are a fully off grid echo friendly home. So our power never goes out! There’s water always available and the fire is always roasting . The weather is wild out there for the next two days, so please drive safe and watch for flooded areas and trees falling .

Spring's arrival marks the perfect time to participate in wine tastings and lunches. The King Valley, located just 45 minutes away, features an impressive array of wineries waiting to be discovered. Chrismonts is reopening its restaurant on September 5th, and I am eager to sample their newly crafted spring menus. Pizzinis regularly hosts events, but also welcomes visitors for spontaneous wine tastings. This spring, I am determined to visit Gracebrooks, a local winery that has, unfortunately, remained unexplored despite my 35-year residency and Redfeet Winery, open on weekends, is a charming little winery and their champagne is a must.
