Interesting to see the history of Muckadilla's Frank Forde a World War Two Prime Minister and War Minister has modern Irish connections.
On 13th February St Hugh's Primary School in Leitrim Ireland won a Film Award for a Film and Song they made on Frank Forde whose Father John Forde went to school there.
During2025 the students researched the Muckadilla book written by David Bowden. Then interviewed David by Zoom on Frank Forde and Muckadilla. They were competing against 1,500 other students. Great effort!
