When life becomes routine, the days can blur into one another. Our brains go into energy saving mode. Efficient, yes, but we form fewer distinct memories. Time feels like it passed in a blink.

If you want to stretch time, you need to add new memories, new experiences.
They don’t have to be huge, just small changes to your “normal”.

Winter is on the way. We get it. The nights are cold. The mornings too. The idea of being somewhere other than your cosy bed makes your toes curl and your insides shrivel.

But we’re here to let you in on a little secret: winter is our favourite time to camp.

Yes, really.

While many are tucked away indoors, we’re soaking up bluesky days, hiking along cool, quiet paths, and sipping hot drinks by the fire under starry skies.

At Bower Camp Co, we live for that breathless, heart-racing moment when you leap into an icy creek or wild waterhole. It’s more than an invigorating experience. It connects you right to the heart of the place and anchors you firmly in the present moment.
