Established in 2006 during a six-man fishing trip to Fraser Island, the club's membership continues to grow.

Winner of this years Fraser Island Cup, held at Iluka, is Dallas Cook (OFM) with a flathead. Well done Dallas! The trophy final moves out of two sets of hands.

Dates for 2013 Fraser Island trip to be announced.

Organisation for Fraser Island Fishing Club trip to Fraser Island is under way for 2013. Fishing hut can fit 9 people, preference will be given to Ordained Foundation Members (OFMs), then Ordinary Blow-in Members (OBMs), and then the rest. Be quick to secure your position. $80 to Thomas or George Halliday by the end of March. More than 9 members may book but must camp from hut.
