Do you love to walk and explore nature?👍

We’ve had some beautiful rain lately, which means the landscape is looking lush and full of life, with plenty of native blooms starting to show off.🌿

So, if you’re looking for somewhere to stretch your legs, here are two great spots to start!

Mowantjie Willauwar Conservation Park is a 143-hectare conservation park and home to a native pine forest, southern cypress pines, mallee box woodland, drooping sheoak woodland and scented iron-grass grassland.🌱
Keep your eyes peeled for some of the park’s rare orchids, and walk quietly for the chance to spot some of the native birds that call the area home.🦅

Just two minutes up the road, you’ll find the magnificent volunteer-run Pangarinda Botanic Gardens housing an incredible collection of native plants. The garden bursts with colour and is also a beautiful spot for birdwatching.📸

So, grab your walking shoes, pack the camera and make a day of it. You might be surprised by what you discover along the way!
