Ahoy Lads and Lassies! The Deckie and the Captain bid farewell to all the crew who walked the decks of Maggie J and followed our adventures. Äs I sit here, reclining against a single coconut tree on a sandy island, with a stout line around my toe and a refreshing ale in my hand, I am comforted in the thought of the many fishing memories we helped create for all our crews and adventure followers. However, all is not lost, as my long lost Cousin (2nd removed aaaarrrrggghhh), Dick Tricky, has returned from his fishing sabbatical on the seven seas, and dropped anchor in the pristine waters of the beautiful Mid North Coast estuaries. Dick knows these waters well, and the bountiful treasures that abound within. Arrrggghhh and ahoy thar me hearties! The Capt'n and Decky have been mighty busy durin' the Christmas season, but when the Capt'n gets hisself a spare weekend, he's off to Narromine with the boys campin', gettin' his arms stretched by some Murray Cod and dinin' on some delictable yabbies! A busy Capt'ns life doesn't get much better than that aaaarrrggghhh!

Aaaarrrggghhhh and ahoy thar lads and lassies meet a great fisherman and bloke, Al, all the way from Melbourne with a lust to mix it with a trophy Flathead. The trophy fish eluded us, but Al managed to deck a few thick specimens for photo and release. Much impressed with the scenary and fishin' opportunities on our doorstep, Al will be returnin' with some like minded fishin' buddies in April for some blue water arm stretchin' exercise. Durin' his stay, we experienced strong winds and testin' conditions, but Al continued fishin' throughout.

The Capt'n and Decky are lookin' forward to seein' you again in April and meetin' your scallywag fishin' buddies.

Aaaaaarrrrrrgggghhh and ahoy thar ye fellow sea salts! Yet another cungie skinned motley Crew! As we pushed Maggie J through the bar, within the first league, weather condiitons pushed us back into the protected waters of the Forster inlet, where sea legs weren't required! A quick run up the Wallamba soon provided a bevy of thick Flathead and a mass attack of Shovel Nosed Sharks with the Crew yahooing and rods a bendin' all the way. Felicity, no doubt an informed fisherman, decked the largest and most, but the rest of the family crew, Andy, Emma and Mark, got their fair share of the action to be sure arrrrggghh! It doesn't get much better than enjoying the majestic Great Lakes, with such a lovely family. Thanks for a great day out crew.

Ahoy thar ye scurrvy sea dawgs aaaaarrrrgggghhh! Meet Skye and crew, 'ard workin' builders from down town Sydney, lookin' for a bit of kick back time in the sticks on the tranquil waters of the Great Lakes Estuary. Great lads who battled with sea monster stingrays, and put together a nice cache of crabs and other feisty sea creatures. The Captn's sure they drove home a lot slower than on the way up from the Big Smoke aaaaarrrrgggghhhh!

Ahoy thar lads and lassies, the Captn's been mighty busy over the festive season and here's some photos and a story for yer viewing delight! A great day on the lake and rivers with Simon, Lida, Riley and Dillon, fishin' and crabbin' at a relaxing pace. The Capt'n was pleased with their piscorial efforts as were the Crew, and a mighty fine Crew they were aaaaarrrrgggghhh. Lookin' forward to seein' 'em on the mighty fine Maggie J again, welcome any time.
