The Shire of Nannup has completed its annual spring maintenance program, including a top-to-bottom refresh of the popular Cheap Thrills trail and the reopening of Blindside following maintenance and feature upgrades.

Completed by Woodland Trails and Landscaping, the works included surface repairs, feature reconstruction, drainage improvements and general trail maintenance to enhance flow, safety and ride quality for riders of all skill levels.

Tank 7 MTB Park is built and maintained for riders, by riders. Every donation, shuttle booking and merchandise purchase through the Experience Nannup Trails Store helps fund ongoing trail maintenance, improvements and future trail development.

From world-class trails to warm country hospitality, Nannup is ready to welcome Stage 2 of the Cape to Cape MTB tomorrow.

⚠️ Visitor Information: Tank 7 MTB Park and the associated trail network will be closed to the public from 6.00am to 4.00pm on Friday 16 October while racing is underway.

Following the excitement of hosting the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, riders and visitors will once again discover why Nannup has become one of Western Australia's most exciting mountain biking and adventure destinations.

The South West's premier mountain bike stage race travels through Augusta, Nannup, Margaret River and Dunsborough, highlighting some of the region's most spectacular riding destinations.

From the flowing singletrack and forest scenery of Tank 7 MTB Park to the vibrant atmosphere at Foreshore Park, Stage 2 showcases why Nannup has earned its place as WA's newest Trail Town and one of Australia's South West's most exciting adventure destinations.

Whether you're cheering from the sidelines, enjoying a coffee in town or stopping by Foreshore Park to watch the racing unfold, there are plenty of opportunities to be part of the excitement.

Fresh off an incredible week of world-class racing in Nannup, we're stoked to welcome Stage 2 of the Cape to Cape MTB to our trails tomorrow.

Riders will roll out from Foreshore Park before taking on the flowing singletrack, technical features and iconic terrain of Tank 7 MTB Park, one of WA's premier mountain biking destinations and a key part of Nannup's growing reputation as a Trail Town.

⚠️ Please note: Tank 7 MTB Park and the associated trail network will be closed to the public from 6.00am to 4.00pm while racing is underway.

If you're around town, head down to the Foreshore Park, cheer on the riders and soak up the atmosphere. There's nothing quite like seeing hundreds of mountain bikers tackle Nannup's world-class trails.

Over the weekend, Nannup welcomed visitors from around the globe as the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships brought the world's best gravel cyclists to Western Australia's newest Trail Town.

For many visitors, it was their first time experiencing Nannup and the Southern Forests & Valleys. They arrived for the racing, but left talking about our towering forests, rolling hills, country hospitality, incredible food, and unforgettable outdoor adventures.
