september is save the koala month! 🐨🩵 these cuties were spotted by andrea at last year's Koala Count.

🔎 did you know we can identify individual koalas from photos? koalas have unique markings on their noses (basically their version of a fingerprint). researchers can use photos to track who's who and monitor koalas over time. very cute. also potentially useful science.

send us your koala photos or tag us in your sightings. if your camera roll is currently koala-free, koala festival on 19-20 september will be able to help with that 😉

we've done some shuffling behind the scenes, wrangled a couple more kayaks, and squeezed in an extra tour on the habitat train. there literally isn't enough daylight to fit any more in.

✨ while you're on the booking page, don't forget to register for Koala Count too.

and a little reminder: koala festival is free to attend, and there's heaps happening on the weekend that doesn't require a booking.
