Just a little gripe , So I had a tour a couple of nights ago at Dryandra National Park which is the Country of my Ancestors , I had gone to meet a young couple from Victoria who had booked my services , well evetything sort of got lost in translation as there was a mix up with meeting places etc but finally we managed to arrive somewhat at our destination although it was a little late so we could'nt really do a proper tour so in return I offered to take them on a spotlighting which I've never done before , so anyway to cut a long story short we decided to head to Dryandra lions village because they wanted to view the night sky and I told them that the paddock in the middle of the village would be their best chance of a better view so we pulled up in the parking area and walked over towards the paddock I told the guys to bring your torches so we would'nt step on any kangaroos lol , but as soon as we left my vehicle we noticed something odd like there was a car or lights around my car , anyway I did'nt really seem to worry too much about it that is until this ute came flying up the fence line and entered the paddock and pulled up alongside of us , it was the caretaker of course who I know sort of so I wasn't expecting the rudeness and abuse I copped about not letting him know that I was undertaking a tour so he proceeded to be very rude to me in front of my customers , not only that his wife pulled up behind me that was the lights we had seen earlier so she could block me off, then went into my vehicle and removed my keys when I confronted her she said nothing and drove off and yes I will be making a formal complaint to DBCA as a Traditional Custodian I expect to be treated with more respect because I not only have a duty of care for this place but for my customers also !
