Get ready for 14 days of Winter magic these July school holidays as the annual Port Stephens Winter Whale Festival returns bigger and even better to D’albora Marina Nelson Bay 🙌😍
We are calling all families and friends, foodies, car enthusiasts and whale lovers to come stay and join in the fun. There’s something for everyone.
Here’s a list of SOME of the activities you can expect:
* Monday 7 July to Sunday 13 July 10am-5pm outdoor ice-skating rink at Marina. If you can stand and walk then you can skate too
* Saturday 12 July 5pm-8pm Family fun night at Apex Park with food stalls, music, face painting, magical display of giant illuminated puppets
* Sunday 13 July 10am-3pm Car Show with classic, vintage and muscle cars
* Tuesday 15 July Scavenger Hunt around CBD for adults and kids, part quiz and part treasure hunt
* Taster trails -like a progressive dinner that includes 4 courses where you move to different restaurant and cafes however you must rebook
* Sunday 20 July 10am-2pm Human Whale at Fingal Bay beach. Visitors and locals line up to form an outline of a 100m humpback whale and then it’s photographed from the sky. There’s stalls, sausage sizzle, face painting etc
* live music, food stalls, local restaurants, cafes, pubs etc
There’s also many other activities to do at Port Stephens including:
- whale watching cruises
- hiking at the many walking trails
- camel and horse riding
- sand boarding and 4WD
- quad biking
- bowling and golf
- Oakvale Wildlife Park
