Brian Morris passed away on Thursday 28th December 2023.

He loved taking fellow photographers to explore the beauty of K'Gari and he knew many special scenic shots on Fraser Island.

If you have travelled with Brian those images will live on and bring pleasure and memories of this passionate photographer.

The World’s largest Sand Island

When I retired from producing and directing TV documentaries, I turned to my lifetime passion of still photography to make my days productive. Fraser Island, is a world heritage site and is one of the most beautiful places to visit and photograph, but access is restricted to a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle. There are tour buses, but they are on tight schedules and can not wait while you compose that perfect shot. There are occasional photographic workshops on the island, but they are mainly classroom based and are quite expensive. So being retired and not needing to earn a large income, I decided to take photographers to the island for just a small fee. I limit the number to three people so as to give everyone a window in the 4WD. By being such a small group it allows plenty of time for attending to individual needs.
