This February, you can make a direct impact on a young koalaโ€™s recovery by fostering Zucchini and supporting her rehabilitation journey.

Zucchini was found alone on the ground by hikers, too weak to climb a tree. When she refused to move, they knew something was wrong and called for help. Severely dehydrated and underweight at just 1.4 kg, with no sign of her mother, she was brought into care for urgent treatment.

With expert support, fluids, and round-the-clock care, Zucchini has been slowly gaining strength. Though she struggled at first with feeding and gut issues, she quickly learned to grasp the syringe and take her milk like a little warrior! Now, sheโ€™s on the road to recoveryโ€”but she still needs your help.

By fostering Zucchini this February, your support will go directly toward her rehabilitation, providing the essential food, medical care, and treatment she needs to grow strong and healthy. Every contribution helps give her the best chance at returning to the wild where she belongs.
