The land of fire and ice.

I can’t think of a more apt description for this beautiful and wild country.

Iceland is still relatively under the radar as a tourist destination and is brilliant to explore by car.

If you’re short on time you can do the “must do” Golden Circle in a full day, however I recommend spending at least 6 to 8 nights to to fully immerse yourself hiking in the geothermal environment, thunderous waterfalls, and don’t forget to indulge in some outrageously good food.

Skiing is an expensive hobby for Australians with flights to Europe often pricey and our slopes can be expensive.
A natural choice might be Japan.
However, I have another suggestion if you like beautiful snow, Olympic standard runs, and up to 40% cheaper than Japan?

China. 🇨🇳

Club Med Yabuli located in far north eastern China offers an excellent all inclusive value for money holiday for couples and families with kids with beginners runs, along with a tonne of intermediate and green, and some black runs for the more advanced.
