On the road again! What a beautiful day to restart our small group tours!
We customised this tour beyond the usual Blue Mountains sight seeing places for the lovely ladies. The good old mining town of Lithgow got some hidden gems to explore and some delicious bakeries.

Uluru in the morning, this sacred site is understandably revered when you see it like this from space. Awe-inspiring! The sandstone rock is known for changing colour, and from space I agree a sunrise or sunset changes its tone, glowing in the different lighting. The shadows in this picture made it easier to spot and helps it stand out, but the huge sandstone structure that is almost 3 km across is hard to miss. Uluru continues underground for a large part, like an iceberg, and is a watering hole for wildlife.

It is heart breaking to learn the sad and shocking demise of my dear cheerful friend and an experienced Tour Operator, Mr. Vijay Thakur. He could not sustain COVID complications.
He was running India Vision Tours and Travels in New Delhi and a former president of Indian Association of Tour Operators - IATO
We met in a India Tourism Incredible India Road Show (early 2019) in Sydney and became friends in a click despite a huge difference in both age and experience. His ever cheerful and down to earth personality lead us to do our first ever Cycling Trip in Himalayas from Manali to Leh/Ladakh. He went above and beyond to accommodate every option we demanded. He is a 10/10 good man.
He always treated me like his son and whenever I was in Delhi, he would put me in a best possible hotel with best food and greet me at airport gate. He checked on me & travel business regularly and surely left a legacy on how to be a better person.
REST IN PEACE!
I and Streetsmarts Travel just lost a trust worthy and ever reliable friend.

One of many best things about Australian coast is the Rock-pool. A genius idea to have safe swimming spots protected from waves. This is a must do activity when you are visiting Australia.

"You're nuts." 😂

That's what told ABC Radio Sydney listener Matt told Steve after hearing that he did the whole Sydney-to-Newcastle Great North Walk hike in one 14-day hit.

He finished the 250 kilometre walk today at 2:00pm at Queens Wharf, Newcastle.

"Got it done! I’m now just reunited with my wife who I have not seen for 2 weeks and the friend I started the walk with, who has traveled up to Newcastle to cheer me on," he told us.

"It will be an adventure / challenge I will not forget.

"People have been stopping me on the way in to ask if I was just on the radio!"

Good on ya, Steve!
