Life will find a way. 20 km from Lord Howe Island, Ball’s Pyramid is the world’s tallest sea stack. Once thought to be extinct, a giant stick insect, the Lord Howe Island Phasmid ,was rediscovered in 2001, clinging to a shrub on the remote Pyramid, the only place in the world it survives. Attempts to reintroduce it to Lord Howe Island are now underway

We love Australia’s remote beaches here at Visit Australia.

Tucked between Northcliffe and the wild Walpole wilderness, we enjoyed our visit to Windy Harbour a while back relishing where the often wild Southern Ocean meets D’Entrecasteaux National Park. It is located a short (by Auusie standards!) around 4.5 hours south of Perth (Boorloo).
