Unfortunately the last lot of snow and wind in November resulted in the demise of the beautiful Hickory tree at the entrance to Hickory Moon. Today we had to cut down what was left of it. Sad to see such a beautiful tree go but there are plenty of smaller hickory trees emerging in the vicinity so it won't be long until we have a replacement 🌳

We love it when the locals stay at Hickory Moon. We love it even more when they stay for their wedding and have their photos taken in our garden. I think you'd all agree Sophie and Joel were the perfect couple.
