Pink Pelican Tours is adding Denmark to the list, and we can’t wait to bring our first group here next May (2027).

Soph and Annie are currently in Copenhagen doing a reccie, finding all the best spots, and stepping out our itinerary (tough job…).

We’ve just wrapped up two incredible tours - with in Venice and Slovenia, and in Florence and Tuscany. Both tours were amazing with the most wonderful groups of women!

Some are staying on for more adventures in Europe, with a couple of us stopping over in Milan - and wow, what a night to remember here with a beautiful classical concert in front of the Duomo.

And we’re off….Soph is en route to Venice to meet our first tour for 2026.

She’s arriving a bit early to step out every walking tour (again), check every booking (again) and meet up with Flis to make sure everything is ready to go when we meet our group next week.

So it’s our Venice and Slovenia tour up first and then Tuscany with for our food and art week.

Travelling to Europe soon?✈️

Europe has introduced a new digital border system called EES (Entry Exit System)

If you’re travelling on an Australian passport, here’s what’s changed 👇

❌ No more passport stamps
📸 Your face + fingerprints will now be scanned when entering Europe

⏰ Your first entry into Europe may take a little longer while your details are registered in the system.

Some European countries like Portugal and Sweden allow travellers to complete part of the process in advance using the official Travel to Europe app (slide to photo 4).

But currently, most arrivals into countries like Italy, France and Denmark will complete it on arrival at airport kiosks or with border officers

Once you’re registered, future border crossings should be much quicker ✨

As we get ready to fly out off to and meet our first guests for 2026 in Venice next week, here are some quick tips on how to properly tag your luggage - for safety and security.

Only include:
✔️ Your phone number
✔️ Your email address
✔️ Your country of residence

For your name, use just your First initial and Last name.

And don’t include your home address - for your own personal safety.

I also love using a bright pink luggage tag so I can spot my bag quickly on the baggage carousel!

Bookings for our 2027 tours open tomorrow, Sunday morning and the links will be sent first to subscribers.

Our Pink Pelican tours are always small groups, and the itineraries are carefully curated by women who know and love the destinations closely and dearly.

And we’re so excited to be opening bookings for our first tour with winemaker Kate Day who is taking a lucky group to Paris and the Champagne region next September.

Italy has its own rhythm, and the people who travel there best are the ones who tune into it rather than fight it.

Move slowly. Greet people. Cover up in churches. Keep your bag close in a crowd. Book ahead for the big sites. And learn a handful of words - prego alone will take you surprisingly far!

Our Pink Pelican Tours family is SO excited to welcome the wonderful Kate Day ✨

Kate is an award-winning winemaker from Mudgee with 25 years in the wine industry, and co-founder of 🍷

She’s spent years exploring (and living in) Europe, soaking up everything from French Champagne houses to Italian vineyards and Austrian wine regions.

Kate’s previously worked as a Tour Guide in Paris and the Champagne region… so she really knows her bubbles🥂

We can’t wait for her to host her first Pink Pelican Tours adventure:
