What is the accommodation like on a Pink Pelican Tour? 🩷✈️

We believe where you stay is an important part of the travel experience.

🇪🇺 Travelling to Europe from Australia? Here’s something you’ll want to know before you fly! ✈️

One of the questions we get asked all the time is:
“Do Australians need a visa for Europe?” 🇦🇺
The good news? Not for a normal short holiday of up to 90 days in the Schengen Area. 🙌

BUT… there’s a new thing to know.

ETIAS is a new online travel authorisation for visa-exempt travellers, including Australians. It’s not a visa, but once it starts, you’ll need to apply online before travelling.

The EU currently expects ETIAS to begin later in 2026, so if you’re planning a European adventure in 2027, this is definitely something to have on your radar.

And remember the 90/180 rule - up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen Area, not 90 days per country.

There’s nothing we love more than hearing that our guests felt completely immersed in a destination - discovering places they wouldn’t have found on their own, tasting local flavours, learning something new and simply enjoying the journey. 🩷

“Our trip through Florence and the Tuscan countryside was an unforgettable experience!

Sophie and Flis did an exceptional job of keeping everything running smoothly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. They introduced us to beautiful places and hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own, making the experience feel truly authentic.

One of the highlights was the incredible food. From cooking with Sophie in the villa to enjoying wonderful local meals, every culinary experience was memorable.

The villa we stayed in the Tuscan countryside was comfortable, spacious and provided the perfect setting to unwind and connect with the group. We even had a pool to cool down on the hot days!

The art classes with Annie were another standout feature of the tour. Annie did a great job demonstrating how to draw and encouraged me to look at art in a completely different way. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the creativity and history that surrounds Florence and Tuscany.

Overall, it was a thoughtfully curated experience that combined culture, food, art and relaxation in a way that exceeded expectations.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the very best of Tuscany.
