Murray Sunset/Hattah Kulkyne National Parks. One of the few remaining semi-arid regions in the world where the environment is untouched. This tour visits Wymlet Tank, Mc Athurs trig lookout, Mallee Fowl mounds, Mopoke Hut located in the centre of Murray Sunset then on to Rocket Lake and remains of an old Gypsum mine. We then cross over the Calder Highway and into Hattah Kulkyne National Park with its impressive lake system and River Red gums, stopping at Lake Mournpall. Visit the information centre at Lake Hattah, Concluding this tour a short drive around the Lake Hattah nature drive. Kangaroos, emus and up to 200 bird species and spring wildflowers can be viewed in these parks. Tour 2 - Full Day or Half Day Tour
Murray Sunset/Pink Lakes. Experience the spectacular Pink lakes that are filled with saline underground water turning a pinkish/reddish colour that become most intense on an overcast day. History of salt mining on the lakes. Kangaroos and Emus as well as plenty of bird life and spring wildflowers can be seen. Tour 3 - Half Day Tour
Hattah Kulkyne National Park/Annuello Flora and Fauna Reserve. This tour includes the impressive Hattah Kulkyne Lakes system that flows from the Murray River. Visit the Hattah Lake information centre then onto Lake Mournpall, old grave site on the banks of Chalka Creek, drive around Lake Hattah nature drive. We then travel onto the iconic Murray River and look at the massive pumping station that feeds the lakes system from the Murray into Chalka Creek. From here we travel into the Annuello Flora and Fauna Reserve to view Mallee Fowl mounds. Kangaroos, emus and many species of birds can be viewed on this tour. Tour 4 - Half Day Tour
Mallee Fowl Tour/Annuello Flora and Fauna Reserve. This is a very unique tour visiting the rare Mallee Fowl mounds, maybe even see a sighting of the bird. You can also see many bird species or a kangaroo and emu. In spring the magnificent bloom of wildflowers. Day Tour: Departs 9am, Returns 4pm
Half Day: Departs 8am & 1pm (4hr tours)
