Middle East Airspace & Flight Disruptions – Travel Update
We are continuing to closely monitor the evolving situation and flight disruptions across parts of the Middle East to keep our clients informed and supported.
Airlines have started to gradually resume some services, however a number of airspace restrictions remain in place and schedules may continue to change.
✈️ Latest Updates
• Emirates has resumed operations. Passengers with confirmed bookings may proceed to the airport, including those transiting through Dubai with confirmed onward flights. Please do not travel to the airport unless your flight is confirmed.
• Etihad Airways has resumed a limited commercial schedule until 19 March, operating between Abu Dhabi and several key destinations. Passengers with existing bookings will be accommodated on these flights where possible.
• Qatar Airways will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms the safe reopening of Qatari airspace.
⚠️ Should you cancel your booking?
At this stage we strongly recommend waiting before cancelling flights.
Airlines typically release travel waivers or flexible options, but these only apply once the airline has formally issued them. Cancelling prematurely may result in standard fare cancellation penalties, which we obviously want to avoid for you.
