Acknowledgement of country, people, place through song. Last weekend I was asked to offer acknowledgement of land at the start of a Central Coast event with Gosford Strip.
Sometimes, song speaks louder than words, and was very moved to see people soaking in the connection. To speak with people after, who were overtly emotional from the sound of clapping and song that has been sung for thousands of years, is equally impactful.
