Great to see the SE Voice sharing the story of Yallum Park and the worldwide audience that My Brilliant Career is bringing to Penola. Andy Clifford mentions in the article that Yallum Park has joined with us to offer a High Tea Experience, and we couldn’t be prouder to be working alongside Andy and Annie.

Guests enjoy a private tour of the gardens and the ground floor of the mansion, followed by high tea served in the formal dining room, hosted personally by Simon or Kerry together with the Cliffords. With so many people now curious about the house behind the series, it is a special way to step inside and hear the stories of Yallum Park from the people who care for it. This is what a weekend with us looks like.

You arrive in Penola to a bottle of local red waiting on the bed. The next morning we pick you up at the door, and from there the day is ours to plan.

There are cellar doors to visit and a long lunch waiting for you, with a glass on the lawn afterwards.

You won't need a map or a designated driver. Just the Limestone Coast at its own pace, with two locals who chose to call it home.

October is one of our favourite months in Coonawarra, and Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations is back from 1 to 18 October.

Each weekend has its own flavour. It opens over the Labour Day long weekend with the Golf Day in Penola, family fun at Rymill and the first Coonawarra Community Markets on Sunday 4 October. The second weekend is all about blending, and the final weekend takes things back to the region's roots, including a one-night tasting of 30 Cabernets from 15 w**eries on Friday 16 October.

Scores tied, seconds on the clock, and Peppa doesn't hesitate. She shoots... and scores!

Peppa is one of the orphaned joeys raised at the private sanctuary we visit on our Caves, Cabernet and Kangaroos day, and she's clearly the star player. The Limestone Coast's newest champion.

Built in 1878 for John Riddoch, the man who planted Coonawarra's first vines, Yallum Park is one of the last untouched grand homesteads in Australia. Seventeen rooms, fifteen-foot ceilings, and a stunning display of original 1880s wallpaper.

Netflix filmed My Brilliant Career here in 2025 and thought so much of it that the crew moulded the stonework rather than change a thing.

Andy and Annie Clifford have kept it exactly as it was since 1914. The only way inside used to be an occasional open day. Not anymore.

We are now offering a private high tea in the mansion itself, hosted by Simon or Kerry alongside Andy and Annie.
