Shadow Kissed Travel I'm an independent travel agent, specializing in creating bespoke, magical pop culture vacations! It is my heart home and I will eventually settle there.

I like long walks on the beach, pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. I actually prefer a good scotch whiskey but I’m not going to turn down a pina colada… ever. I’m a lover of all things beautiful, I try to find light in every pocket of darkness. I suffer* from constant bouts of wanderlust and I may or may not be a ninja. *there’s actually no suffering happening. I do not find it torturous



My name is Jade and I’m a 30-something girl bitten by the travel bug. My favourite place in the world so far is Wellington, New Zealand. The vibe is rocking, creative, festive and kitchy. I LOVE it. I’ve been 3 times and it will forever be my #1 place. I am a bit of a geek - a huge fan of Harry Potter (I'm a Slytherin), Lord of the Rings, Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Doctor Who and YA fiction. Most of my travelling has revolved around visits to theme parks, exhibitions and pop culture conventions. I love theme parks, especially ones with big thrill rides. I love the magic of Disney and the thrill of Universal Studios. A little closer to home, my favourite Gold Coast attraction is Warner Bros. Movie World.

For the last time... Merry Christmas to you all, and I hope your year ahead is magical.

The end of this month marks the official end of Shadow Kissed Travel. It's a bittersweet moment, but I am so thankful for everyone who trusted in me to make their travels magical and as stress-free as possible. It's been an amazing experience, getting to share in the joy of travelling with you all - figuratively, and literally - thank you to my Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 group that were just amazing humans and made the trip an infinitely memorable experience.

After over 5 incredible years helping you all plan magical trips, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to close Shadow Kissed Travel at the end of 2025. It’s been an absolute joy to share adventures, create unforgettable memories, and meet the most amazing travellers along the way. 🌏💫

While SKT is closing, I’m not disappearing completely! I’m starting a new venture — Shadow Kissed Books, an online independent bookshop focusing on romance, sci-fi, and fantasy. You can follow along and see everything happening there at on all platforms.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me with your journeys, for your support, and for making this adventure so special. Here’s to many more adventures — wherever they may be! ❤️
