We need someone with the right experience to get our City of Perth back on track.
Di is a small business owner and a community volunteer, she also spent more than a decade working as a journalist with the ABC.
As the Chair of local group Activate Perth – she has put her ideas and energy to action to create a vibrant city.
She is a pilot and she brings her passion for creating unique experiences to Perth through her roles on the boards of Tourism WA and Perth Zoo.
Understands community and business
The City of Perth needs someone who understands our community and business.
Perth is more than the City – it’s our West Perth, Nedlands-Crawley neighbourhoods, East Perth Adelaide Terrace community and our vibrant Northbridge precinct.
The City of Perth is home to it all – a mix of local community organisations, peak bodies representing a range of industries and large and small businesses who invest in Perth.
Di is passionate about celebrating the City’s diversity – multicultural community, the LGBTIQA+ community, seniors and their families, high rise tenants and dynamic young professionals who make our City great.
A new way forward
Reviving the City of Perth will take collaboration and hard work to bring people together, support each other and back our local businesses.
It’s a full-time job and one that needs a truly independent candidate who can work with everyone.
Di knows the role of Lord Mayor is about breathing life back into our City, getting the structure and governance right and having a plan to promote Perth.
Growing up Di had instilled in her the importance of giving back to the community. She will listen, work with and engage the broad community to make a difference.
