Due to the predicted tail of Cyclone Narelle bringing heavy rain and strong wind gusts, Perth Explorer will be CLOSED on Saturday, March 28th. This decision has been made for the safety of our customers and staff. We will resume our normal operations on Sunday. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Due to extensive road closures around the city and Kings Park for the Road National Championship cycling event WE ARE CLOSED Saturday and Sunday, 10th & 11th January. We will be back to normal on Monday January 12th

We are almost off and running! The Coastal Explorer bus starts the Scarborough to Hillarys run on Saturday January 4th. Either catch it from the city at 9.30am for a day on the coast or else just jump on board at either Scarborough or Hillarys and enjoy the ride along the coast on top of an open top double decker bus! Can’t wait to welcome you on board in January. $20 per adult ex Perth CBD and only $10 if you start at either Hillarys or Scarborough. Don't forget, the Coastal Explorer bus is returning to the Sunset Coast next week on Saturday 4 January!

The service starts in the Perth CBD, travels to Scarborough Beach then passes through Trigg, North Beach, Watermans Bay, Marmion and Sorrento on its way to Hillarys Boat Harbour.

The open-top double decker bus is a fun way to get the kids around these school holidays, and perfect for those who are looking for a unique way to showcase some of Perth’s premier coastal destinations to their overseas visitors.

This initiative was made possible through a joint partnership between the City of Stirling and City of Joondalup.
