I've been a bit slow in posting our travels, so here's an update.... To be followed by photos!
4 June
After 2&1/2 wonderful, blessed years, we finally left Geraldton to go 42mins to Dongara 🌊 (where we stayed a week!). Had such a lovely time there, & we got to hang out with our friends, Doug, Fiona & Monica. ❤️ 😋
12 June
Left Dongara to go to private property in Sovereign Hill, Gabbada 2hrs 45mins (where we stayed around 6 weeks). This was a great opportunity to check out this beautiful area 🏞️ from Guilderton to Gingin. We also could do more culling & some caravan & car maintenance. The caravan is nearly 5 years old so Tim did some repainting etc. Almost looks like new - apart from the ubiquitous red dirt 💩 that is not removable! And FINALLY took the plunge & replaced our hot water 🚿/ heater 🔥 system.
19 July
Left to go 5mins to Moore River free camp on the highway.
20 July
Then 14 mins to Gingin Willowbrook Farm Caravan Park. ❤️
22 July
Followed by a week in the Yanchep National Park, 25mins away! This was a real treat - great location given to caravans within the park. So nice to see wildlife - kangaroos, koalas 🐨, kookaburras... Excellent facilities... Yanchep Inn... Go visit there for a meal at the Inn or BBQ at the lake if you're ever in the area.
29 July
Now we're another 46mins away in the Swan Valley Discovery Park. Wine 🍷, cheese 🧀... Another gorgeous area to discover.
So obviously we are travelling very very slowly! Which meant we've also had the pleasure of some visits from Gero & Dongara friends. If you're travelling the Brand Highway in the next few days pop in & see us!
Praying for open doors & great places to stay as we head south of the river! Though we really miss all our Gero friends, we're ready to engage with new people & communities.... ❤️
