Mr Confetti giving a sigh of relief after I finally removed his back to front right leg that I had sewn on in the midst of a perimenopausal fog 😅This removal was a difficult one as he was going to a toddler and I sewed it extra securely for safety. When I realised the error after, I couldn’t fix/face it right away and had put it away for a few weeks. Today is the day that I feel ready to fix it with a ready heart. 💓 When we make a mistake, sometimes it is okay to TAKE A BREAK BEFORE FIXING THE MISTAKE. With a ready heart, my imagination is free and I have renewed energy to work on him with increased intention, care and good vibes. Thankfully, Mr Confetti understands this and is very patient 🤣

Recently, I have been thinking of venturing into face painting as a small business. I have been enjoying face painting at birthday parties and seeing the joy on children’s faces. Friends have also been encouraging. However, getting paid for my art feels somewhat scary. There’s much self doubt - “Am I really good enough to be paid? What if someone gets annoyed because I paint too slowly?” So, I have decided to start posting some of my work here, whilst deliberating whether or not to take the leap.
