It’s all red today as our team attends the Les Clef D’or Australia Perth Tourism Expo 2025. This event lets us connect with voluntary guides, concierge staff and other hotel front of house staff to make sure they’re up-to-date on all our Perth City and Fremantle products.

Exciting news for Alkimos! The $88 million Alkimos Aquatic and Recreation Centre has received final approval, with construction set to begin next month. Located across from the new Alkimos train station, this state-of-the-art facility will feature:

Indoor and outdoor swimming pools
Gym and fitness facilities
Sports courts
Crèche
Cafe

The centre will also boast the City of Wanneroo's first 50m lap pool and water polo facility. Construction is expected to be completed by October 2026.

Perth's newest landmark, the Boorloo Bridge, is now open! This stunning cable-stayed bridge connects Victoria Park to East Perth via Heirisson Island, providing a dedicated 6-meter-wide path for pedestrians and cyclists.

🎨 Discover the New Mural at Kings Park! 🌿

Local artist Kambarni (Kamsani Bin-Salleh) has transformed the Kaarta Gar-up lookout with a stunning temporary mural, celebrating the upcoming 60th anniversary of the Western Australian Botanic Garden.

Inspired by Western Australia's diverse Eucalyptus species, the artwork features blossoms arranged to resemble the Southern Cross constellation, symbolizing traditional navigation and the cultural significance of native flora.

The mural also incorporates Noongar words "Kaya" (Hello) and "Wanju" (Welcome), inviting all visitors to connect with the rich heritage of the land.
