As of June 25th 2025, the official ECOMS Instagram account has been wrongfully suspended. We’ve submitted an appeal and are currently waiting on a review from Meta and the Instagram team.

It’s a frustrating situation – as a student-run, not-for-profit society, Instagram has been one of our main ways to engage over 6,000 UWA Business School students, promote opportunities, and keep the community connected.

We know platform enforcement isn’t easy, but this seems to be part of a growing wave of wrongful suspensions globally – with little explanation and mostly automated support.

We’re hopeful Meta will review our case soon and consider the impact on student-led organisations like ours.

In the meantime, it’s business as usual – and yes, we’re going old school by saying this on… Facebook (lol).

She’s the first to show up, the last to leave, and the reason your study night had snacks and actual tutors – all with an iced tea on hand that she definitely trekked to the Ref and back for.

All heart. All hustle. No time to waste (unless it’s for a nap).

Meet our President, Ryan: the man, the myth, the Monster-fuelled machine.

He’s the one steering the ship – from wrangling the execs to chairing committee meetings (and the occasional Danube river cruise).

Dedicated to making UWA Business School a better place: one Excel function (and excellent function) at a time.

He’s probably in a meeting. Might be on the courts. Definitely wearing the same shoes again.

The wildcard unit of comm go where they’re asked and do what needs to be done… but will ALWAYS end up first on the dance floor 👯‼️

From Ball to Biz Sundowner, they run the show with military-grade run sheets, an inbox full of venue quotes, and 3 business day replies from DJs 📧

They don’t rest so you can sleep… but you’ll catch them in multiple event group chats, Google Sheets and being first in line for the bar tab 🕺☑️
