🌍 Southern Africa by 4x4

“The Grand Traverse” is a guided self drive 4x4 journey from Windhoek to Victoria Falls, travelling through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

Travellers drive fully equipped Toyota Hilux 4x4s in convoy, with guide support, radio contact, safety equipment and the main logistics arranged.

The route includes Etosha, the Kavango, Maun, Khwai, Savuti and Chobe before finishing at Victoria Falls.

The journey moves from Namibia’s open landscapes into Botswana’s river and wildlife regions, with a mix of campsites, lodges and hotels along the way.

Camp nights are mostly self catered, with some meals included and time built in for wildlife viewing, river areas and the changing landscapes between each stop.
