UPDATE - due to unexpected cloud cover this tour has been rescheduled to Spring✨ Our Stargazing Tour returns to Rockingham.

We will begin as the sun dips over the Indian Ocean, then as night falls you will view the Moon, planets and constellations through the telescope while listening through silent disco headsets with a curated musical soundscape.

Bring a picnic, rug up and settle in for a midweek experience that feels anything but ordinary. Keep an eye out across the water too — you may even spot seals or coastal wildlife as the evening unfolds.

I popped into the Western Australia Visitor Centre last week for a chat with the team about what is coming next for Hidden deTours. 👣 🚌

New experiences are in the works — both walking and bus tours — and a few sneak peeks definitely got the conversation going.

Morven and 12 of her friends joined us for a private Perth Hidden Bar Tour in Perth, creating a night out tailored entirely to their group.

After receiving a list of venue options, they selected the bars that best suited their style and tour guide - Elisabeth brought the fun, stories, and great energy throughout the evening.

🌅✨ Rockingham Sunset and Stargazing Tour | This Wednesday ✨🔭

Ever looked up and wondered what you are actually seeing? Or wanted to look through a telescope for the first time? This is your chance.

Join us this Wednesday 22 April for an evening of sunset, stars, and discovery at Shoalwater Foreshore Reserve. Perfect for curious first-timers, keen stargazers, adults, and children alike.

Bring your own picnic and make a night of it as the sun sets and the stars come out to play. With a professional astro tour guide using a laser pointer to point out objects in the night sky, silent disco headsets for commentary, music and soundscapes, and telescope viewing of the moon, stars and planets, this is a fun and relaxed way to experience the night sky.

You may even spot seals on Seal Island, pelicans, and other coastal birdlife along the way.

Sharon and her colleagues travelled all the way from Corrigin to Perth to celebrate several staff milestones together.

Their evening was spent discovering hidden bars across Perth on the Perth Hidden Bar Tour, enjoying great venues, delicious drinks, and plenty of laughs along the way.

🌏 International Media Spotlight on Hidden deTours 🌏

In November 2025, Hidden deTours proudly hosted a walking tour famil in Fremantle for Tourism WA, welcoming global media connected to the World’s 50 Best Vineyards.

Travel journalist Ben Tomsett has now published a travel feature in The New Zealand Herald on 10 February 2026, highlighting his experiences across Perth, Swan Valley, Margaret River, and his time exploring Fremantle with Hidden deTours.

Here is what he wrote:

“We wandered Fremantle with Monique Boucher from Hidden deTours, who knows every alley, bar and story worth hearing. The perfect way to start a visit, Boucher's knowledge of the area's colonial history and current bohemian culture will set you up with an appreciation for the rich area.”
