ESPERANCE SCULPTURE TRAIL | COMMUNITY CO-DESIGN WORKSHOPS

The Esperance community is invited to this series of workshops to collaborate with FORM on phase two of the Esperance Sculpture Trail project!

As we move into the next stage of the Esperance Sculpture Trail, we will be working alongside the Esperance community in a series of workshops. Feedback from these facilitated sessions will inform the Public Art Strategy, Artistic Briefs, and subsequently the artworks for the project.

Each 2-hour workshop and brainstorming session will discuss the following details:

⭐ The scale of the project
⭐ Criteria for suitable locations
⭐ Potential locations
⭐ Artwork procurement rules

Workshop participants will also come away with a greater understanding of the Esperance Sculpture Trail including the project's background, work to date, governance, and decision-making structure.

It was such a pleasure to welcome Embassy of Finland in Australia - Suomen suurlähetystö Australia Ambassador His Excellency Arto Haapea, and his partner Steven Morton to FORM Gallery (FORM Gallery & Cafe) when they recently visited Perth.

Here they are pictured in front "Our Pilbara Wildflower Country," a gorgeous collaborative painting by Yinjaa-Barni Art's Allery Sandy, Melissa Sandy, Dawn Sandy and Justina Willis. FORM Cultural Projects Coordinator, Phoebe Jones, and Chair of FORM's Board, Tim Shanahan, showed them through our latest exhibition WHERE WE COME FROM: THE ARTISTS OF NGARLUMA AND YINDJIBARNDI COUNTRY.
