WA POLICE REVEAL DRINKING RULE THAT COULD COST YOU
West Australians were forced to reevaluate their drinking habits after WA Police reminded everyone on social media that passengers in cars and party buses cannot drink.
Both the driver and passenger could each land a hefty fine of $2000 if a passenger is drinking alcohol that is not licensed or exempted.
“Don’t make your trip on a party bus more expensive than you planned,” police warned on Facebook.
West Australians were quick to express their shock about the rule, as many did not know that it existed. Others agreed with the safety measure, saying that violence could occur on or offboard party buses from alcohol consumption.
