“We’ve had a great time… enjoyed seeing so many castles, going through the locks and the food has been really nice.” 🤍
Last week, Russell and Suzanne returned home from an incredible European adventure and popped into the store smiling from ear to ear, excited to share their photos and stories from along the way.
It was Suzanne’s first time visiting Europe and one of the things they loved most was just how seamless the entire holiday felt.
Their journey combined an Insight Vacations tour of the UK before joining Viking’s iconic Grand European Tour river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest — a beautiful way to experience Europe without constantly packing, unpacking and moving hotels.
From the windmill-dotted waterways of the Netherlands to fairytale castles along the Rhine, medieval towns, scenic locks, Vienna’s grand architecture and the stunning beauty of Budapest, every day brought something new to discover.
One of the reasons I love recommending Viking is the ease of travel. Their thoughtfully designed Longships carry around 190 guests and are small enough to dock right in the heart of many historic towns and cities.
Guests enjoy:
✨ One complimentary shore excursion in every port
✨ Complimentary Wi-Fi
✨ Specialty teas, coffees and bottled water onboard
✨ Delicious regional cuisine
✨ Complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks with lunch and dinner
✨ A relaxed onboard atmosphere with lectures, local entertainment and cultural experiences
If a European river cruise has been on your wish list, Viking’s Grand European Tour is one of the very best first-time river cruise experiences available.
We’re also hosting a Viking Information Session in-store soon. If you’d like to learn more about Viking, their ships, itineraries and current offers, send me a message and I’d be delighted to add you to the guest list.
