🌴 BALI COUPLES HOLIDAY — DAY 11 🌴
THE FINAL DAY ❤️

And just like that… our Bali Couples Holiday has come to an end. 🥹🌴

Today some of our crew were up and away early, flying home to Brisbane ✈️ while the most of the group had until just before midnight before the flight back to Newcastle.

So, naturally, we made the most of every last minute!

There was some final shopping 🛍️, a few more tattoos added to the holiday memories 😜 and then the perfect way to finish our adventure — a delicious dinner on the beach while watching the most spectacular Bali sunset. 🌅❤️

Sitting there together, watching the sun disappear over the ocean, it was hard to believe just how much we had packed into the past 11 days.

Islands and beach clubs… 🏝️
Scooter adventures and sunsets… 🛵🌅
Mountains and volcanoes… 🌋
Hot springs and jungle villas… 🌿
ATVs, massages and plenty of cocktails… 😂🍹
And more laughs than I could ever count!

But the best part for me has been hearing everyone already talking about coming back. ❤️

Some arrived not really knowing what to expect and have left saying they never realised there was so much more to Bali than they ever imagined.

And that right there makes me incredibly happy.

My job here is done. ❤️

Friendships have been formed, lifelong memories have been made and we’ve shared experiences and moments that I know we’ll be talking about for years to come.

To everyone who joined me on another incredible Bali tour — THANK YOU. 🙏

Thank you for trusting me to show you the Bali that I love. Thank you for trusting my beautiful Balinese family to look after us along the way. And thank you for bringing your sense of adventure, your laughter and your friendship.

I feel incredibly blessed to have shared this journey with you all. 💙

We arrived as a group of couples ready for a holiday…

We leave with new friendships, unforgettable stories and a whole lot of memories. 🥰🌴

🌴 BALI COUPLES HOLIDAY — DAY 10 🌴
SHOPPING, SPA TIME & A STAR IS BORN! 😂🥊🍹

Day 10 started exactly how a holiday morning should… room service for everyone and yet another magical day of Bali weather! ☀️🌴

Everyone was free to do their own thing today…

For some, it was tattoo time 🖤 while others hit the streets looking for a shopping bargain or two. 🛍️😂

A few of the crew had a much more important mission — chasing down some fresh oysters and a cold beer! 🦪🍻 Priorities!

The afternoon was all about slowing things down, with some lengthy spa visits, massages and plenty of relaxation. 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️ After ten days of adventures, I think we’d earned it!

Then came the evening’s entertainment…

MIDGET BOXING! 🥊😂

This time our group didn’t just sit back and watch — we supplied TWO RING GIRLS… and THE RING MAN! 🤣🤣

And let’s just say our Ring Man absolutely STOLE THE SHOW! 🔥😂

So much so that he was officially crowned…

🏆 “RING PERSON OF THE NIGHT!” 🏆

Safe to say, we may never let him live this one down! 🤣

The drinks were flowing 🍹🍻, everyone was in fine form and the laughs just kept coming. Another one of those crazy Bali nights that will definitely be talked about long after we get home!

A few late-night massages finished things off before those comfy beds started calling. 😴❤️

Time to recharge the batteries and prepare ourselves for yet another amazing day in paradise tomorrow! 🌴☀️🍹

🌿 BALI COUPLES HOLIDAY — DAY 8 🌿
SLOW MORNINGS & UBUD LIFE 💚🛍️🍹

After the most amazing sleep in our luxury home, we woke to another perfect Bali day and the most spectacular sunrise peeking through the jungle. 🌅🌴

There’s something pretty special about waking up in a place like this… and today we decided slow mornings are definitely the best mornings! ❤️

No alarms, no rushing — just coffee, breakfast, relaxing around the villa and enjoying where we were.

By midday we finally got ourselves moving and headed into the Ubud Art Markets for some shopping! 🛍️😂

You can find just about everything in one place — clothing, jewellery, bags, homewares, souvenirs, artwork and all those little Bali treasures you never knew you needed! And of course… plenty of bargaining! 😂💰

Our group then split up to do their own thing for a while. Some went searching for a local warung to try Babi Guling 🐷🍚, while others decided a little pampering was in order and headed off to get their nails done. 💅

We also hired a couple of scooters for the licensed riders in the group 🛵 — always a handy way to get around Ubud when the traffic decides not to move!

Then it was back to our beautiful home for a swim, some drinks and a fun night in. 🏊‍♀️🍹🎶

One adventurous couple headed off to the Safari Park for a night of excitement, including getting up close and feeding the lions! 🦁😳 Definitely a night they won’t forget!

The rest of us decided to stay put — partly because the traffic was absolutely CRAZY! 😂

Our driver, and my wonderful friend of 17 years, also spent the night with us. ❤️ A few whiskies 🥃, a few games of chess ♟️ and plenty of laughs made for a pretty special evening.

And I can’t forget the amazing in-house massages we’ve enjoyed over the past two nights. 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️ Seriously… Bali knows how to do relaxation!

It may have turned into a slightly bigger night for some than originally planned 😂🍹🥃… but those massive king beds were waiting, and once again we all enjoyed an amazing night’s sleep.

No big itinerary, no rushing — just shopping, good food, great company, plenty of laughs and enjoying our little piece of Ubud paradise. 🌿❤️

Sometimes the slower days make the best memories. 🥰

🌴 BALI COUPLES HOLIDAY — DAY 7 🌴
GOODBYE MOUNTAINS… HELLO UBUD! 🌿💚

Time to say goodbye to our incredible mountain views and our cabins in the sky as we headed south towards Ubud for the next chapter of our Bali adventure. ⛰️➡️🌴

Along the way we stopped at Cretya River Club & Alas Harum for lunch, a swim and, of course, some very cool photo opportunities! 📸🍹

Surrounded by lush tropical jungle and rice terraces, this place is famous for its incredible Bali swings, stunning infinity pools, sky bikes, glass-floor photo spots and those iconic giant nests overlooking the greenery. 🌿😍 There was something amazing to look at everywhere we turned!

After lunch, a swim and a little exploring, it was back in the car for another 30 minutes before arriving at our home for the next few nights…

And the word from EVERYONE was…

WOW!!! 😍🤯

Our absolutely massive 6-bedroom private villa was next level! 🙌

The most incredible house with all the bells and whistles — huge bedrooms, massive king beds, beautiful living spaces and plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. Some of the crew were even saying, “I didn’t know places like this existed here!” 😂❤️

For the first time on our trip, we’re all under the same roof, which makes it even more special. 🥰

The afternoon was exactly what we needed — good music 🎶, swimming 🏊‍♀️, drinks 🍹 and plenty of relaxing around our beautiful new home.

Pizza and pasta for dinner 🍕🍝, a few more drinks and then it was time to crawl into those enormous king beds for what may have been the best sleep of the holiday! 😂😴

Another change of scenery, another incredible place to call home and another amazing day with our Bali crew.

Ubud… we’re here! 🌿🍹❤️

🌴 BALI COUPLES HOLIDAY — DAY 5 🌴
FROM ISLAND LIFE TO CABINS IN THE SKY 🏝️➡️⛰️

Another day of perfect island weather ☀️🌴 but sadly it was time to say goodbye to our little slice of paradise and head back to the mainland.

But first… our scooter convoy to Mushroom Bay! 🛵🛵🛵 What a way to finish our island adventure!

With the tide out, we were taxied by a smaller boat out to our fast boat before making the trip back across to Sanur. 🚤🌊

Back on the mainland, our first stop was ICON Bali Mall for a little shopping 🛍️ followed by a delicious lunch with a view at Bubba Gump’s. 🍤🍹

And today was extra special as we celebrated the birthday of my love 💙🎂🥂
A pretty amazing place to spend your birthday!

Next stop… a vintage car museum 🚘😍 — a bit of a treat for the boys and especially the rev head in our group! 😂 So many incredible cars to admire and plenty of “oohs and ahhs” from everyone.

Then it was time to leave the coast behind and head further north towards the mountains and our next destination… Kintamani! ⛰️🌿

And WOW… our CABINS IN THE SKY! 😍

And the most spectacular, breathtaking views over Mt Batur and the surrounding mountains. ⛰️❤️

Absolutely magical!

We finished another amazing day with dinner at a nearby resort and, of course, a few cocktails to celebrate. 🍹🥂

Island life behind us… mountain adventures ahead!

Tomorrow — it’s VOLCANO TIME! 🌋🚙

🌴 BALI COUPLES HOLIDAY — DAY 4 🌴
ISLAND TIME… 🏝️🍹☀️

Today was all about embracing island life and doing as much — or as little — as we pleased! 😂❤️

A couple of our crew were up early and headed out for a morning of snorkelling around the island 🤿🐠🌊, while others chose the very important task of getting massages 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️… and some were perfectly happy doing absolutely nothing but relaxing by the pool. 🍹☀️

We also got to celebrate Indonesian Independence Day 🇮🇩, and the amazing staff at our resort had organised games and activities for everyone to join in. Of course, our group didn’t need much encouragement! 😂

There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition and almost everyone managed to win something… including FREE BREAKY BEERS! 🍻🤣 Because apparently that’s a prize in paradise!

Then there was THE BELL… 🔔

Ring the bell = BUY EVERYONE A TEQUILA SHOT! 🥃😂

And let’s just say… that bell may have been rung more than once! 🤣🤣

Our day was filled with entertainment, sunshine, drinks and soooo many laughs — exactly what holidays with great friends are all about. ❤️🌴

We finished the day with a short stroll to a nearby restaurant for a beautiful dinner, while watching the most incredible sunset over the water. 🌅✨

Good food, great friends, lots of laughs and one unforgettable sunset…

The perfect ending to another amazing day in paradise. 🏝️❤️🍹

🌴 BALI COUPLES HOLIDAY — DAY 3 🌴
ISLAND TIME! 🏝️🛵🍹

Today we swapped one slice of paradise for another… and what a day it was! 💙

We checked out of our Nusa Dua villas and transferred to Sanur Harbour, where we boarded the fast boat bound for Nusa Lembongan. 🚤🌊

Just 30 minutes later, we arrived at the most beautiful little island — crystal blue water, a spectacular coastline and that laid-back island vibe we were all ready for. 😍🌴

First things first… lunch and a few beverages 🍹🍻 before mounting our trusty scooters and heading off on our next adventure! 🛵

Cruising through the streets of paradise, we made our way across the famous Yellow Bridge and onto the even smaller island of Nusa Ceningan. 💛🌊

Within 20 minutes we arrived at our home for the next two nights — an adults-only resort right on the water, with our own little beach huts and incredible ocean views. 🛖🌴

Yep… the next couple of days are going to be tough! 😂🌅🍹

Island life has officially begun… and we are loving every minute of it! 🏝️❤️
