Daintree Discovery Tours, a well-established and proudly Port Douglas owned and operated tourism business, has been creating unforgettable Daintree experiences since 2005.

We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team in a casual capacity, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent part-time role after a qualifying period.

With 2026 shaping up to be another exciting year, we’re seeking someone who genuinely loves the outdoors, has a passion for nature and wildlife, and enjoys connecting with people from around the world.

This role involves both driving and guiding guests through the spectacular Daintree Rainforest. From sharing fascinating stories about the world’s oldest rainforest to spotting wildlife, and swimming in pristine rainforest creeks.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

🌿 A current Queensland Driver Authorisation

🌿 A valid Light Rigid (LR) licence

🌿 A passion for the Daintree Rainforest and Tropical North Queensland (training provided)

🌿 A positive attitude, flexibility and a great sense of humour

🌿 Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage guests from all over the world

🌿 Most importantly, the ability to create an outstanding, memorable experience for every guest
