After more than 40 incredible years in the marine tourism industry, the time has come for us to hand over the reins! (Retire!) 👋
What started in 1986 as a small watersports business on Lake Boga in Victoria grew into a lifetime of unforgettable adventures. When Lake Boga water levels dried up in 1994, we took a leap of faith, packed up our lives and 2 baby girls and moved to beautiful Port Douglas, where we continued doing what we love operating Extra Action Watersports. This was run down the end of the Port Douglas slipway jetty and included parasailing, jet skiing and tube riding.
In 2005 we sold off the Watersport business and Reef Sprinter was born. Over the next 10 years we went from one boat to three, and from our very first passengers to the thousands of people we’ve had the pleasure of taking to the reef, we’re so proud of what Reef Sprinter has become.
To everyone who’s been part of the journey- our amazing staff, loyal customers, local businesses, family and friends - thank you. Your support has meant everything to us, and we’ve loved sharing this beautiful part of the world with you.
Now it’s time for a new chapter. We’d like to give a very warm welcome to the new owners of Reef Sprinter- Matt, Kelly and Chris. We know they’ll do a fantastic job and can’t wait to see the business continue to grow.
Thank you for all the memories, the laughs, and the support over the years. It’s been one heck of a ride!
