Sundowner im There are several styles of authentic Pith Helmet.

PITH HELMET: a light dome-shaped sunhat made from the dried pith of a plant
originally from India however now widely sort from across the eastern continents. From Military to domestic,
the Pith Helmets were a popular head gear worn by those'colonials' stationed
in far away eastern tropical climes. Today the members of Port Douglas Pith Helmet Club have ressurected the
tradition of wearing the

se wonderful 'pukka' Pith helmets to their soirees thus
perpetuating this 'tropical tradition'
