Edithburgh SA

Any excuse to have a quick little get away and this week it was sport.
Edithburgh South Australia is a little beauty hidden on the Yorke Peninsula with picturesque coast line and some hidden surprises along the way.

While we got a lot of rain while we were there the sun kept trying to come out which gave us the chance to get out and about and see what Edithburgh had to offer.

The caravan park was lovely and well equipped with all amenities needed and well maintained. While a short walk along the foreshore there was plenty to discover and a great way for the kids to burn off some energy.
Finding some seals lazing in the sun on the jetty and others playing in the water was definitely a highlight. 🦭

We will certainly be back.

Tumby Bay SA

October school holidays and we made the trek to Ttmby Bay SA. Stopping to over night at Cowell SA we arrived in Tumby Bay on Saturday. The Tumby Bay caravan park did not disappoint. Clean and tidy the amenities are good and the picturesque surroundings are perfect for a relaxing stay.
A quick drive away is Port Lincoln and the Glen Forrest Animal Park was a winner with the kids.

Arthurton SA

Who knew a spontaneous trip a little ways up the road was what was needed?!
Good friends and some hotted up lawn mowers made for an awesome day and a relaxing night!

Mannum, SA

We had a very quiet holiday season for many different reason but luckily we managed to jag a few tickets to the ‘Sounds By The River’ concert in Mannum, SA!👏👏
What a weekend , the local footy club laid on the hospitality and did not disappoint 🥘 Awesome spot to park up for a couple of days and in walking distance of the event!
As for the actual show, well we can not complain as we got to see a few of our favs from the past up close and personal and none of the acts disappointed .
Good ol’ Mother Nature could have dialed back the heat a bit as we have all come home with some lasting memories of the weekend that was ( 🥵 ) but all in all we will be looking forward to the next one and hopefully we can catch jimmy Barnes next time round👏👏

Port Rickaby
Family bought us to this sleepy little town this time.
Such a peaceful place with so much beautiful coastline to explore 😍
The park itself is neat and clean. The Peale are friendly. The only thing we could’ve asked for is some better weather on the first day 🌧️
Minlaton is the closest town 16km from Port Rickaby and has all your needs, we had an awesome breakfast at Ye Olde Cafe 🤤
Beautiful little towns along the coast to visit and we were lucky enough to come across a market and a garage sale or two 👏
We also managed to do some unexpected 4wding and the MUX was a champ!! Even though we did end up with a flat tyre 🤪
Perfect little get away for us and much needed.

Port Elliot

Between roster changers and kids sport there has been no chance to get away for months 😢 finally the stars aligned and we got a couple of days to have a break and recharge, which was much needed!!

This place is another level of special, with the spectacular views the cockle train and the fabulous food this part of this country of ours is a definite must!!
We picked strawberries, fed the animals, rode the steam train and ate tooooooo much 🍲 🥘 🧁
