So it comes as no surprise to find a giant one making Portarlington Community Hall its new home.

Autumn is the best season down on the Bellarine Peninsula. Cooler nights and sunny days with little wind. And the burning off has two benefits: reducing the fuel load prior to the summer bushfires and very colourful sunrises.

but we do have a pair of Aussie Tenterfield Terriers who guard guests cars with lots of energy & enthusiasm.

Another beautiful morning at St Leonards. We have enjoyed day after day of sunny, hot beach weather...I think we'd almost forgotten what a proper summer was like after the last couple of years of cool disappointing summers.

It was Meg's last day at edinawaterfrontcafe. Ever smiling & delightful, she made the last long black for Geoff and decorated my flat white with 'Eric the Snail'. We will all miss sharing our afternoon coffee & chats with Meg and wish her success in her new venture...at Neville Richards Real Estate.

Cats really do love Catmint! Here the beautiful nursery cat at Van Loon's Nursery in nearby Wallington first sniffs then lies across the tubes of catmint. What a life!
