Hey Helloworlders!

We are excited to announce our affiliation with Variety - The Children’s Charity. Their critical help for children who are disadvantaged, sick, or living with a disability is truly outstanding.

Having seen this support firsthand last year on the Variety Bash, I (Darren) decided to get involved - I’ve bought a Bash car and I’ve committed to raising funds for this extremely worthwhile cause.

I need your help please. We’re selling Variety hearts on the car for $100, with your name showing your kindness. We’re selling larger real estate on the car to community minded businesses looking for that tax-deductible donation to keep from the tax man. 😉
Otherwise, of course whatever level of support you can offer is immensely helpful.

There’ll be a sausage sizzle in front of the shop Thursday, with snags available for a gold coin (or better) donation. 3HA/MIXX FM will be there broadcasting.
Love to see you there, and love to see you supporting kids in need.

Travel has a way of shifting perspective - reminding us that beyond the headlines, there’s kindness, culture, and connection waiting to be experienced. Sometimes the best way to restore your faith in the world is simply to go out and see it for yourself 💙

Heading across to the coast, everyone enjoyed a day to explore. Quad biking and a bay cruise kept some entertained whilst others were happy to wander the shops and markets.
From there we started to head east. First stop Etosha National Park - 23,000km sq wth one quarter being salt pan.
This half of the itinerary is more about the wildlife, as you can see from the photos.

As we’ve hit the half way mark, we’ve continued our journey into Namibia, with ever changing landscapes. The desert has had a lot of rain this year which is great for the ecosystem.
Such an amazing part of the world.

South Africa 2026
We all arrived safely into Cape Town where we’ve explored the region including Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cape of Good Hope and the Franshhoek Wine Region.
Such a great start to the tour and look forward to the coming days ahead.
