Having clients who book with us from all corners of our great country means there is always a chance we would run into one of them along the way.
This happened while we were in Port Lincoln on the Variety 2026 Bash yesterday.
I was fortunate to catch up with well known Port Lincoln local. And, one of our clients, Marg Jenkins.
Marg helped organise activities for the first Variety Club Bash which finished in Port Lincoln many years ago.
It was so good seeing you Marg and a big thank you for your support 🍷

Recently I took some time out for myself and took my first Intrepid Travel Tour - Walk Western Australia’s Kimberley.
Over 13 Days we experienced the magnificence & beauty of the Kimberley and its Stunning Gorges, Waterfalls & Geological Formations.
A Camping Tour where participation was encouraged.
Such a magnificent destination in our own backyard - if you haven’t experienced it yet, you need to.

For a man who runs a travel agency, it’s no real surprise that Darren Baker would choose to spend his time away from the office travelling.

This time though, instead of jetting off to an exotic destination on the other side of the world, Mr Baker will be heading through the back roads of South Australia, joining the eight-day South Australian Variety Bash from 8-15 August.

For all you Helloworlders out there that hold dual citizenship, best apply for your other passport now if you plan to travel in the next twelve months. Recent implementation of the same requirement for the UK saw the British Passport Office overwhelmed. 😬

The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is due to be implemented toward the end of 2026. Once implemented, travellers visiting any of the 30 participating European countries visa-free will need to get an ETIAS travel authorisation. The ETIAS is different to the European Entry/Exit System (EES).

Dual citizens of participating European countries or Ireland will not be eligible for an ETIAS travel authorisation. If you’re a dual citizen, once the system is implemented you will not be able to enter any participating countries using your Australian passport. You will have to enter using the passport from your other country of citizenship.

If you don’t have a passport from your other country of citizenship, apply for one soon. Application wait times in some countries can be very long.
