Good afternoon everyone we hope we find you are well and rested after the easter break and the anzac long weekend. Firstly we wish to apologise for being quiet we needed to give attention to life. Mum and dad have needed our support and love of late. Dad has had some surgery and in recovery mode doing really well. Life has also shown us how precious time is for those we love. So please excuse our absence. As we don't believe in half measures 🤣, we have had so much happening. Jacq has started working for herself doing support/cleaning for private clients and we have had family over from UK. Another reason for our post today kind of addressing an elephant in the room moment. In the quiet, when you slow down you notice alot more and circumstances stand out, and stand out like a beacon that's needs addressing. So go grab a cuppa, we are going to be here for a little while 🤣🤣.
We have been on a paranormal journey for most of our life. Those that know us, know when we were young we had a profound experience that changed everything we knew. This was the birth of our hunger to seek the truth or at least gain some understanding, so the journey begun. We sought out places to explore the unknown, but more importantly to seek some truth. Obviously along the way we met like minded people, who were seeking a similar path to us. So it was inevitable that we would eventually join teams. We learnt so much from these experiences, both good and bad, but most importantly we learnt and are still learning.
One thing that has always stood out to us,and one thing we have taken pride in is integrity. Regardless of who we worked for, we always brought integrity to the table. It's one of our core principles. When we chose to go out on our own as Mystic Realm, the one thing we needed to carry was integrity. When you operate tours, your an educator, whether you like it or not. With that position comes great responsibility, that's why it shouldn't be for everyone. We are responsible for Kilmore Gaol. We are the caretakers of the building but more importantly the caretakers of the souls that choose to share or visit that space. They still have stories to tell, messages to pass on etc. So if your a caretaker you have the responsibility to stay true to fact. It's not your job to embellish the history nor sensationalise your location to something it's not. There is no integrity in that. Let's go there. Integrity is' a person's commitment to honesty and a willingness to do what is right. It holds the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. There are 5 fundamental values when we look at integrity: honesty, trust, fairness, respect and responsibility'.
As an educator you should hold onto those principles first and foremost. We are the voices for those that still have stories to tell. Yet in the quiet we have noticed Integrity in the paranormal field has taken a wide turn and going down a path we struggle to understand.
Any good investigator knows 90% of your time is sitting in the quiet, waiting patiently for some evidence or communication. Sometimes the activity is unbelievable and at other times your questioning your past experiences because of the quiet. This leads you down the path of seeking the truth. Why do we have activity and then possibly none? The list is endless, but this is not the time nor the place to embellish activity. Our role is to navigate those moments. That's why we have cases of equipment, that's why we do experiments,that's why we investigate, we use those tools to seek some truth. Whilst we aren't medium's nor claim to have any particular gifts, we have been told we are sensitives that when ready need to explore that a little further,we will when we are ready. So we also understand there is a beautiful balance of science and the psychic world when we investigate. We have a sensitive as part of our team, and totally understand she sees things differently to us just as some of our guests do. So you explore that together, but as an educator you have a duty of care to those around you and the spirts that choose to communicate with you. This is not the place to embellish the history nor the activity. One factor we have learnt, spirits will embellish their past. That's when your history comes into play. Use your history to valid your experience. We have seen spirts make themselves far more important than they are, endless cases of spirts claiming to be demons. Are they demons? You explore that respectfully.
So this has come to a point, in the quiet we have noticed locations all of a sudden have multiple demons 😈. Very little evidence has been captured. So as any good investigator would, questions were asked of these locations and the people looking after the locations, respectful questions at that. I asked about the demon activity and what was happening. Because as an educator you have the right to tell the truth. In that you push aside personal beliefs and discuss the truth or at least the incidents your publicly discussing. Unfortunately there was no discussion, we were immediately blocked. So this insane demon activity is going on, with guests present. Yet there is still no evidence other than verbal recollections,which we will always say is a good story until you have evidence. What disturbed us most, how the spirts were being referred to in such a horrible unprofessional manner. We don't want the paranormal world to become a freak show. Reputation is everything and so is integrity. When a business is using demon activity to promote itself, its for all the wrong reasons. Amazingly the demon activity stopped and they moved them on within a couple of days🙄, sensationalism, you can be the judge of that.
Fast forward a week... same team is claiming this time to have solved a major cold case. Slight problem, it's no longer a cold case as it's been all over the media. There have been documentaries airing on every platform, the subject matter is everywhere because they have strong evidence as to who committed the crime, so the case is active. Again disturbed by a post from same people this time claiming the crime had been solved by them. They believe they spoke with victims who named their Ki××er. Most importantly they discussed how a victim, who was a child was ki××ed. Describing a particular horrific detail. Again no respect was being shown, so once more a question was raised by us about the privacy that should be given to such a discussion. This was to public and this subject matter needed respect and privacy. To many people were named, we felt sad for the families of those loved ones. A medium gave the most gruesome detail out that would have just distressed families still grieving. Once more we were greeted with being blocked and no questions answered.
Please don't tell us that this is where we have come as a field. That we can't ask respectful questions, we can't keep each other honest. As educators which includes having a FB page, we must show gratitude for the opportunities we have been given, which includes gratitude to others. We should be communicating honestly and openly, taking responsibility for our actions, both good and bad. Respect should be given to people always, yourself included no matter where you are. How does this behaviour create any trustworthiness or demonstrate any reliability? So keep people honest, keep asking those questions. If your seeing something off, call it out. We can't let sensationalism be the driving force in the field. Remember we have been given a privilege of being the voice of those that were once with us. They still have stories to tell , but do it with honesty and integrity. Don't do it for fame, for the likes or so you get a million people through your location. I will leave you with a mantra we have adopted, we even have air freshner's with it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 May the paranormal road lead you to the truth! Seek the truth not the hunt ! 🖤💜👻
