🖤 IN MEMORY OF DON 🖤
After our investigation on Sunday morning we were driving home and we starting speaking about a friend of ours Don. Whilst we hadn't spoken for some time his was never far from our thoughts. We would like to take a moment to remember Don and his love for Kilmore Gaol and Ned Kelly. We were contacted by Dons family Samantha Macleod to let us know that Don had finally found peace at 2.00 am on Sunday morning.
Don loved Kilmore Goal and it was one of the first places that introduced him to a passion of the paranormal. Don was a grumpy old fart, and he knew that and we told him often, and would laugh our heads off at his grumpiness but we loved him just the same.We loved to make Don laugh, we broke down the grumpiness, behind all that bravodo was a very kind, genuine,yet grumpy soul bahahahaha. We were glad we could make him laugh and he was one of the first people to experience our unusual spirit in the cell. Don was fascinated in history and often found things out about the gaol if we needed clarifications on his findings at investigations. He would visit us at markets and brought his family to Gaol to show off his love for the place. Don loved Ned Kelly and we were so happy to track some rare books down for him and share a birthday at Kilmore with him. Don gifted us mugs that we use as our investigation mugs, so he is never far. Don also shared our love for snacks. He would bring offerings to investigations and introduced me to be able to bulk buy Honey Bears bahahahaha. Thank you for that, my waistline will forever be grateful. Don had been unwell for quiet sometime so we are grateful that there is finally peace in his life. We were giggling as Don was so fond of Morgues and we thought he would be so happy finally hanging out for a bit. We argued endlessly with Don about the paranormal, again we were giggling because we thought ohhh nice play your going to get the upper hand and finally prove the paranormal to us. We know he will be hanging out amongst the mannequins messing with us. Don thankyou for the memories and the challenges, do come visit. Samantha Macleod we are thinking of you and your family and especially your Nan. We are sending an abundance of love and peace to you all. Thank you for the memories Don. Now go reek havoc in the next life, we know you will be. We will expect a vist when your ready. Now rest easy friend much peace. Im giggling even more now because Don was a private, no frills man, he will be slightly annoyed at this post, but we couldn't not remember you. Good Evening Everyone 😘. We hope you have had a splendid weekend. Even though Jacq and l don't celebrate Valentine's Day we hope yours was loved up 😂😂😂. We just wanted to say a quick Lil thanks to our guests that attended investigation last night. We had the pleasure of a first time investigation with a beautiful local historian Francis. He has written a book on Kilmore and is writing a new book. We will keep you posted about that. We had some other guests that were first timers who were happy to be active in investigation.This factor makes a massive difference. If you make the effort, the Gaol will speak to you, so we love when our guests take the hands on approach. We also wish to thank our beautiful Paranormal family peeps, Heidi, Gavin and Rod. We love when you come to your home away from home. We love that the goal is home to you. Rod has been with us since the beginning. So your love immeasurable. Here is to a million more adventures 😘. The Spirts were super interested in Francis and he may have brought a spirit friend with him 🤗. We had interesting activity in Knight Room with trip wires and k2 and dowsing rods working in unison with activity. This space is interesting, its forever changing. We believe we have a residual haunting and intelligent spirts in same area. So we are keen to keep trying different experiments in this area to see the differing results. Exciting times ahead. Table tipping was interesting, a gentle session, when it was just 4 of us left. Again Francis had never table tipped so he was super fascinated. Whilst it wasn't as full on as it can be, we are always grateful that our Spirts are always keen to try different methods of communication. Then we pulled out the big guns bahahahaha. We gave the Geoport its first workout. So interesting,the results are amazing. To get those conversations, words with no white noise, blows my mind. Of course its very new so we are still learning about it also, getting use to voices and what they are saying. We had a zoom recorder going so we can go back and listen when one isn't so tired. Because people forget when you start to get tired are things paranormal or are you experiencing side effects from exhaustion kicking in. All these things are super important to consider when your looking at your evidence. So our homework is cut out 🤔. Im excited, l have come away with tuning folks and a wave generator. We are so keen to experiment with hertz and frequency and the paranormal. Confession time, l will using the tuning folks on my knee and wave generator for sleep, side experiments are always fun. We will let you know our results 🫠. Our next investigation is April 18th, the event is posted and tickets are ready for purchase. We don't take for granted that we have been investigating Kilmore for well over 10 years. We love that its our home away from home. As you know when your at a location for so long you have to think outside the box. That is where we are at. We are almost starting fresh, to see how we can investigate this environment differently. How we can get new results, from a different perspective. It got us thinking, how after all this time never be afraid to try new things to get different results. Which lead to a further thought of how far we have come from where we started out. So that leads me to this post. What got you interested in the paranormal ? What made you a believer ? Do you sit on the fence, and that's okay. Because honestly Jacq and l de bunk first then seek the reasons to a possible phenomenon. I will share how Jacq and l became to where we are.
Our grandmother lived with us, we loved her dearly. Unfortunately she passed when l was around 9 and Jacq early teen. We come from a religious family, fun fact, our mum is a pastor 😂. She tells people we do 12 hour history events bahahahaha. So we were taught when you pass it's either heaven or hell. So fast forward we attend Nan's funeral. That night we are talking in bed, and the bedroom door opens. We thought, crap mum's coming to tell us to go to sleep. No. It was our beautiful Nan. She walks in, sits in a chair kinda near our beds. Well we started talking to her. Telling her anything and everything. This happened for about a month, every night. We told mum, she told us it was in our mind because we loved her and missed her. But we some how always felt differently about this.After about a month it stopped. It left us with the question why and how. So at a young age we were hungry for answers. So when we were old enough. We went on the quest that many others have made, surely there has to be more. Nan never spoke to us, but she sat listened and smiled lots. There was much comfort in those moments. Is that what it was? She purely came to sit and comfort. It also lead to another thought. What happens if there are lost spirits or spirits that still have a story to tell. So from our personal experience lead to the most unbelievable journey so far. We love that we do this together, we are a package deal 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I don't think we will ever stop seeking some truth. So l'm interested, what got you into the paranormal ? Do you not believe, and again would love to hear your belief. Side note Jacq and l are Switzerland 🇨🇭 and so is our page. Good Evening Everyone. Hope your having a good week so far. After the weekend we are so excited to continue down the path of challenging ourselves and the way we investigate. One thing we have always been keen to investigate is how we can use frequency and hertz to charge our environment. We put music to the challenge on weekend and got marvellous results that need to be explored further. We have always struggled with EMF pumps as l have a medical condition that unfortunately reacts to it. We also know that people with pace makers need to also be careful. Enter our experimenting, what can we do that doesn't effect people's health? So let the fun begin. We have so many great ideas. Our first investigation on the 14th February. So after our experimenting night. We didnt stay all night,but none of us could wind down once home, as I guess our little minds were blown. First of all we thank Gaz, Rain, Julian and Melina for helping us out on this one. Alle, Lis and I are blessed to call this our home and for over 10 years, we have researched and documented and still our minds tick overtime. We dont want to be world first or the best... its just for our personal curiosity.
We have seen the Gaol Shift and layers peel back over the years so of course we want more....hence us thinking outside the box. On Saturday night we had such an array of instruments, from drums, flutes and didgeridoo to xylophones and keyboards. Our baselines took an hour to sort out as we were using amps ect. So in this scenario debunking was first and foremost in our minds. EdI vibration was set off by drums so we repeated things over and over. We found the spirits preferred different music and were quite active at times as we invited them to join in. We loved the interaction they had with Gaz and he found himself in a few conversations...its a trust thing we promise them nothing will hurt them and the people we bring are friends.
So while we can't do this every event we are certainly looking at the same sort of thing we can work on in a smaller scale.
For us we can't stay stagnant...we have all the equipment with bells and whistles we can use... but we want people to know its not always about the technology. Use what you have....yourself!
Repeat things over and over sometimes it's the simple things. Those that come on our tours know we offer a different experience....we always have.
Do we promote it...not always, some things are personal and we want people to experience things themselves. Do we let people experience it...my word we do.
So once again as we start our events this year we have a few more things to explore with guests that are new again.
As we experiment we also want our guests to grow and take things away from our events and use for their own communication. This is what we mean by our tours are events with a difference we are never going to be "normal"

As Alle and I enter our 10th or so year here at the Gaol we always start off a night of planning and experimenting. This year we are totally thinking outside the box and are excited on which way our research continues. We are lucky to have talented people. Here is the loud stuff which we are few spirits have liked so far. Our base lines were interesting. So let the experiments begin. We are looking at what music does for frequency and what life it can give paranormal activity. Stat tuned we will let you know how it goes.

Don't ask me how but Jacq who doesn't really watch paranormal shows has found the best one to date. If you love paranormal investigation, criminal forensic investigation and psychics. This is for you. It's for free on YouTube. I have attached the trailer. It's currently 5 episodes in. Your lucky, l was hooked instantly and have to wait weekly for episodes. So you can binge watch 5 episodes. There are also some Q and A episodes but don't obviously watch them until you have watched the episode. Jacq and l are so excited we have brought a piece of equipment they are using, The Geoport. Super excited its on its way. That will be an exclusive piece of equipment we will only use. People won't be able to take that off on their own. We have some awesome experiments already lined up. So if you want to watch an awesome show that does not waste your time. Good Afternoon Everyone 😊. Hope your enjoying the sunshine without the extreme heat. Thought l would check in and have a chat about our investigations. Our next investigation is on the 14th February and its a 12 hour experience but if you don't think you want 12 hours you can book a short tour. All the costs and information are on the Try Booking link on the event. Whilst it is advertised as a sleep over, not many people sleep. In our base which is the church behind Gaol, we have couches,pews, table, chairs etc. There is room if you wanted to rest on a swag, but its shared space. People will be moving around as its where we base ourselves. Some people do rest in their cars and others do book local accommodation. Other people will just have down time sitting in church on couches chatting.We don't go to sleep. The early part of the evening is investigating together, and doing other activities like table tippin etc. If your booked onto long tour we do offer some exclusive things like black mirror scrying. This is only for long tour people as its an activity that does take time and loads of energy. This is a tour that's offers the opportunity to investigate on your own. We have equipment you can use. But in saying that some equipment will only be used by us accompanying you. Due to its cost and unfortunate theft of some equipment last year, which absolutely shattered us. So some equipment will only be used by us.Winter will look a little different this year. We have shortened our tours because it gets so cold and instead of dinner we will offer supper. Kilmore is the perfect opportunity to be able to have a hands on experience. We have brought many new pieces of equipment over break some of them are mind blowing. So we are going to have fun doing some experiments with them. We are going down the experiment path this year. So often we do neglect the science behind what we do. We want to mesh it all together. We often lose fact we are still learning after all these years. It's wonderful to mix things up, you never know the results. So if your joining us. Put your thinking caps on. It's the space to do experiments. Don't pay money and watch us. This is a hands on experience. We will keep you fed and watered throughout the whole experience 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Good Evening Everyone 😊. Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather today. Thinking of everyone that is in fire affected areas and those CFA workers doing an amazing job. Also thinking of those that have been through bushfire, these days are hard, so sending an abundance of love to all. So we have hit the ground running and have set all our investigations for the year. They are all live on our website and the first half of year is on page here. Our first investigation is 14th February. Jacq and l giggled so hard, as you can see we don't celebrate Valentine's Day in any capacity. Whilst we can't promise a candle lit dinner, we can promise investigation by the candle light bahahahaha. We have a new piece of equipment in the form of a candle, like a rem pod. So excited to see that in action. Actually we have several pieces of new equipment. One is super exciting and l will talk more about that tomorrow. This year is full on and we are excited. We are heading to New Zealand, ekkkkkkkk super excited, and l'm off to UK in September. This year our winter investigations will look different. It's gets so cold, so we have shortened tours to 6 hours, 7 to 1pm. No dinner, but you get supper. There will be no investigation in September as l'm off to Uk for the month. We are so excited this year. We have so many exciting things to bring to you. We have gone creatively nuts 🤣🤣🤣🤣 re invented ourselves. Still doing mystical gifts but its going to come in such a different format, concentrating on hand made. Jacq is introducing a new merchandise range but so much more than your run of the mill merchandise. So to say we are busy is an understatement. I hope you all have a restful evening.
