Some pics from Tuesday’s flight (17th June 2025) from William Creek, flying across Lake Eyre then followed the Cooper Creek to Innamincka for morning tea then continuing to Birdsville for lunch. After lunch we followed the Diamantina to Goyders Lagoon, Warburton and the full length of Lake Eyre North. Truly on extraordinary experience. 👍

Day 5 of our current 6 Day tour. This afternoon (Sunday) we had a scenic drive through Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges finishing with the Moralana Scenic Drive… We were spoilt with amazing sun spots against the Flinders Ranges landscapes… 👌

The time has come to get our newest tour vehicle “Dan the Van”

Today Paul used Dan on our 6 hour “Gorges and more” tour with group of 5. With his long wheelbase and lowered tyre pressures traversed the stoney terrain of the Brachina and Bunyeroo Gorges with ease 👍

Here is a statistical comparison between March 2025 and January 1974… The red line denotes the Lake Eyre catchment area. Quite a bit of difference. I personally believe there will be some water flow into Lake Eyre North but still not comparable to 1974. Just my honest opinion 👍

Day 3 of our 12 Day Flinders Ranges, Lake Eyre & Coober Pedy Adventure.
With a 10 DegC start to the day and a 25 DegC maximum it was perfect Autumn weather to be out exploring the Ikara-Flinders Ranges national park. Still very few visitors to be seen at this time of year. Heading to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary tomorrow Cheers Paul and Astrid

We are still rolling out local “Day Tours” of the spectacular Flinders Ranges throughout summer. Monday’s lovely guests were from France. The skies were sunny in the morning changing into these wonderful clouds in the afternoon. Wishing everyone a lovely day, regards Paul and Astrid 😀
